C&D Technologies, Inc. recognizes its obligations to act responsibly, ethically and with integrity in its interaction with all stakeholders, staff, customers, suppliers, communities and the environment as a whole. C&D also expects its business partners to act in accordance with high standards of integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

We will provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and for visitors to our premises and ensure sufficient information and training is made available in pursuance of their activities.

Human Rights – C&D has always endeavored to conduct business responsibly and ethically. We believe that a serious commitment to human rights is fundamental to the way we conduct our business. We treat our employees with dignity, fairness and respect and we are guided by our shared values of integrity, collaboration and accountability. Our commitment is formalized through various policies including our Code of Business Conduct, C&D Intranet, Employee Handbook, environmental governance and management systems.

Labor Practices – C&D and its affiliates are expected to comply with all relevant and applicable laws and regulations of the country in which workers are employed and to implement the workplace code in their applicable facilities. Environment – We are committed to the protection of the environment and health and safety of our employees, customers and communities in which we do business. It is our policy to design, manufacture and distribute products in a manner that will not result in the creation on unacceptable risks to health, safety or the environment. Every C&D Technologies battery comes with a lifetime recycling policy.

Fair Operating Practices – In addition to conducting business fairly, C&D bases its operations on the principles of fair competition and on related applicable laws and ordinances. We build our quality management system utilizing ISO 9001 in our factories and we continuously strive to improve the systems effectiveness and efficiency.

Consumer Issues – C&D takes sincere consideration the feedback from our consumers in order to improve our customer satisfaction and product quality on an ongoing basis. Reflecting the needs of our customers in our products, information and services we provide.
